Answers from the hangar
Does the game need an internet connection?
No. Wakey Worlds plays fully offline. A connection is only used if you are signed in to Game Center and want your scores on the leaderboards.
Where is my progress stored?
Only on your device. Nothing is sent to us and there is no cloud copy, so deleting the app also deletes your progress.
Why does the game ask for my photos?
Only to set your pilot picture, and only when you choose to. The picture you pick is saved on your device and is never uploaded.
What are the reminders?
Optional local notifications about the new Daily Flight, the Weekly Party and your wake-up streak. They are created on your device, and you can turn them off in the game Settings or in iOS Settings.
Are there ads or purchases?
No. There are no ads and no in-app purchases. Every ship, gadget and trail is earned by playing.
How do I delete my data?
Open Settings in the game and choose Erase progress, or simply delete the app. Nothing is stored on our side.
What does Game Center see?
If you connect Game Center, Apple receives your scores for the best score, daily and weekly leaderboards and your achievements under your Game Center name. That is handled by Apple under its own privacy policy.

02Information We Collect
Good news: Wakey Worlds does not collect any personal information. There is no sign-up, no tracking and no data sent to our servers.
If you choose to email us, we will naturally receive your address and message so we can reply.
The app does not collect special categories of personal data, such as health, biometric or religious information.
03How We Use Information
Information is used only to:
- To protect the security and integrity of the app
- To answer your messages and provide support
- To fulfil requirements under applicable law
Your personal information is never sold, rented or traded.
04Third Parties
We share information only in the limited situations below:
- Service providers: vendors that provide infrastructure and tools, contractually required to protect your data.
- Legal requirements: when required by law, court order or to protect the rights and safety of our users or others.
- Business transfers: if Albin Mittag is involved in a merger or acquisition; your information would remain protected by this policy.

05We Don't Track You
Wakey Worlds does not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies, and it does not use your advertising identifier.
06Why We're Allowed to Process Data
For users in the EEA and UK, the GDPR requires a legal basis for processing. We rely on:
- Consent: when you opt in to a feature that needs it; you may withdraw consent whenever you like.
- Contract: where processing is necessary to provide the app and features you requested.
- Legitimate interests: including keeping the app reliable and protecting it from abuse.

07Keeping Your Data Safe
We use industry-standard measures such as encryption in transit and access controls to protect information.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security — but we work hard to protect your data.
08Data Retention
We do not keep data longer than we need it. Retention periods depend on the type of information and the reason we hold it.
Once the purpose has been fulfilled, the data is securely erased.

Depending on where you live, including under the GDPR and CCPA/CPRA, you may have the right to:

- Correction: have inaccurate information fixed.
- Deletion: request that your data be erased.

10Children's Privacy
The app is intended for users aged 13 and older.
Should we learn that we have received personal data from a child under 13, we will delete it without delay.
11Where Data Is Processed
Your data may be stored on servers located outside your country. Any such transfer is protected by legally recognised safeguards.
12Do Not Track Signals
We honour Global Privacy Control where required by law. As we do not engage in cross-site tracking, Do Not Track signals do not change how the app behaves.
13Revisions
As Wakey Worlds grows, this policy may be revised. Material changes will be communicated before they take effect.

02License Grant
Albin Mittag grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use Wakey Worlds on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service.
03Rules of Use
To keep the app safe for everyone:
- Do not try to gain unauthorized access to the app or related systems.
- Do not use the app to harm, harass or impersonate others.
- Do not create derivative works based on the app.
- Use the app only in compliance with applicable laws.
04Ownership
Wakey Worlds, including its design, code, graphics and content, is owned by Albin Mittag and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you.
05Services Provided by Others
The app may integrate third-party services. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.
06No Warranties
Wakey Worlds is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free.
07Ending Your Use
These Terms remain in effect until terminated. You can end them by uninstalling the app; we may end them if you breach them.
08Limitation of Liability
Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for it in the last twelve months, where permitted by law.
09Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the country where the developer is established, without regard to conflict of law rules. Mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence still apply.
10Apple App Store Terms
These Terms are between you and Albin Mittag, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app, its maintenance, support or any claims relating to it.
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies where relevant.

We may modify these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
